Here at Highfield we offer a great Base to explore and walk the Hadrian's Wall. Whether it be Historians Walking the Wall, or Cycling along the Cycle way 'coast to coast',or horseback riding, Highfield Holidays has something to offer everyone.

Martin and Julie offer a warm Cumbrian welcome to their guests, all of whom enjoy the breathtaking landscape, the hospitality and the very special feeling that comes with a truly relaxing home. Whatever time of year you choose to visit and whatever you want to enjoy whilst on holiday, Highfield has lots to offer and you can look forward to very pleasant stay.

As you walk in, the front door opens to a wide stairway leading from the hall. The house retains many period features, including high ceilings, wide doorways and even original fireplaces in many of the rooms. Although refurbished, the decor is sympathetic to the traditional ambience of the house. All our rooms are en-suite and spacious and gives you that little bit extra!

Follow our family of barn owls as they hunt the marsh lands or listen to the dawn chorus over the Solway Firth. Watch the fisherman as they work their nets…. or simply relax and enjoy what Highfield Holidays has to offer.
